Microfiber Guide

At EDGE, our microfiber color guide is not optional — it is an important part of maintaining safety, quality, and professionalism in our buildings. Using the wrong microfiber in the wrong area can create cross-contamination and quality issues. For example, using a toilet cloth on sinks, counters, or other surfaces can spread harmful bacteria and create serious health concerns. Using dusting cloths on mirrors or glass can leave lint, dust, streaks, and fingerprints behind, resulting in complaints from customers.

Our customers are aware of our microfiber system and many specifically watch for proper color usage. If they see the wrong cloth being used in the wrong area, they may report it immediately because it impacts their confidence in our cleaning standards and safety practices.

Proper microfiber use helps:

  • Prevent cross-contamination

  • Improve cleaning quality

  • Reduce customer complaints

  • Protect health and safety

  • Maintain EDGE standards and professionalism

Please slow down, pay attention to the color guide, and always use the correct microfiber for the correct task. Small details make a big difference in how our customers view the quality of our work.
