As we continue to see an increase in COVID-19 cases in our state, we should continue to be mindful of all the ways in which we can prevent the spread and keep our workplace safe.

  1. Practice good hygiene. Follow the advice provided by the CDC, continue to wash your hands, don’t touch your face, etc.

  2. Wear your PPE.  You are now required to wear a mask while working and other PPE as required. If you notice your coworker isn’t wearing appropriate PPE when required, please gently remind them for their own safety.

  3. Do not talk to others at work about your symptoms.  Please come talk to HR immediately if you plan to get tested. We can provide you additional information regarding your rights and responsibilities.  Your medical conditions are private matters and need to be treated as such. We also do this so you don’t unnecessarily send your coworkers into panic.

  4. Wipe down the equipment after you use it.  In many cases you are sharing equipment with your coworkers.  Please wipe down the equipment before you use it, and when you’re done.

  5. Do not come to work sick. If you’re experiencing the classic COVID-19 symptoms you should not come to work. Contact HR immediately for guidance.
